Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Support implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and integrating HSE standards into project operations.
Assist in conducting project inspections and proactively ensure HSE objectives are met.
Collaborate with the team to investigate accidents or incidents, contribute to reports on work practices, and assist with risk assessments.
Assist the team in preparing and sharing reports, bulletins, and safety program materials to ensure staff are informed of HSE updates.
Be proactive on-site by observing and coaching personnel in adopting HSE best practices.
Assist in inspecting worksite and subcontractor facilities, suggesting corrective actions to ensure compliance.
Stay updated on current HSE practices through training and education to enhance professional knowledge.
Safety: Will be responsible/accountable for following occupational health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
1. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all local, national, and international HSE regulations, laws, and industry standards. This includes OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and other relevant authorities.
Policy Development: Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure these are regularly updated to comply with new laws or industry best practices.
Training and Education: Conduct safety training programs for employees at all levels. This includes inductions for new staff, regular safety drills, and updates on new safety procedures or environmental practices.
2. Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification:
Risk Assessments: Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards related to workplace conditions, equipment, processes, or chemicals. Analyze how these risks could impact health and safety and take steps to mitigate them.
Site Inspections: Regularly inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify any unsafe practices or hazards. This includes checking machinery, tools, safety gear, and environmental conditions.
Corrective Actions: After identifying risks or non-compliance, recommend and implement corrective actions, such as improving safety protocols or introducing new protective equipment.


Desired candidate profile

  • Degree/Diploma in Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or relevant field.
  • NEBOSH Diploma/NEBOSH IGC or Occupational Health & Safety certifications which are internationally recognized.
  • Interested to work in Industrial Automation Industry.
  • Basic knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills for identifying hazards and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coach and collaborate with on-site personnel and teams.
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and documentation.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in the field of HSE.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
