Job Description

We are partnering with a leading provider in the lowvoltage controls industry recognized for exceptional customer service nextday delivery from UK stock and strong customer relationships. The company is dedicated to being a strategic partner for its clients helping them reduce supply costs and improve operational efficiency.

They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand their market presence across Northern England and Scotland (**The Location listed on the advert is just a guide as job boards dont do general areas very well). This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join a forwardthinking company with a rewarding commission structure and substantial growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities in Northern England and Scotland focusing on lowvoltage control solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture longterm relationships with existing and potential clients positioning the company as the preferred supplier.
  • Industry Insight: Keep abreast of market trends competitor activities and customer needs to offer innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Create and implement a robust sales strategy to meet and surpass revenue targets.
  • Customer Support: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and exceptional aftersales service.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain uptodate CRM records for pipeline management and performance tracking.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 35 years of proven success in sales within the lowvoltage controls industry is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • SelfMotivated: Ability to work independently and manage a large territory effectively.
  • PerformanceOriented: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • TechSavvy: Proficient in using CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • TravelReady: Willing to travel extensively within Northern England and Scotland.
