Shift Schedule: Usually 8 hrs per day

Call Schedule:

Nights; 16 hrs (4p8a) & Two 24hr calls each time.

Shift/Call Coverage:

To supplement gastroenterology call coverage IP consults ED scheduled procedures.

Call Type: Beeper

Call Ratio: 1:4

Ave. No. of Surgical Cases (IP): 34 per day

Annual ER Volume: 112000

Patient Demographic: all ages

Rounding Included: Yes

Support Staff: Standard OR support to include APP first assist.

No. of Orthopedic Surgeons in Practice: 14

Case Mix: Orthopedic Surgical Cases (adult peds geriatric & trauma)

Required Procedures:

General Orthopedics (treatment of fractures dislocations amputations deformities & tumors of bones and joints): Surgical NonSurgical.

Pelvis & acetabular (required)

All trauma presentations to include pelvis acetabular & supracondylar humerus fractures.

Colonoscopy Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

Diagnostic Therapeutic (w Biopsy w/ Foreign Body Removal)

Lab & Xray Onsite: Yes

No. of ORs: 20

Trauma Level: I

EMR: Epic

Other Info: Level I trauma center

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active MI License

DEA

Clean record

Residency must be accredited by ABMS

COVID Vaccination proof

Local (Highly Preferred)

Trauma Fellowship (Highly Preferred)
