Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Pathologist Physician to provide onsite pathology and laboratory services at a healthcare facility in Pittsburgh PA. This role is ideal for candidates committed to delivering stateoftheart care and adhering to nationally recognized standards established by the American Board of Pathology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality pathology and laboratory services onsite.
- Evaluate and diagnose 1012 patients per day.
- Utilize the CPRS EMR system with standard clinic note templates and Dragon Dictation.
- Comply with all infection control protocols including COVID19 precautions.
- Adhere to all facility guidelines including training credentialing and privileging requirements.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 7:00 AM 3:30PM or 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
- Minimum contract duration of 1 year.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Pathology (ABPath).
- Current Medical License (valid in any U.S. state territory or commonwealth).
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pathology Physician.
- Ability to pass credentialing and privileging requirements.
- Compliance with all vaccination requirements including:
- Tuberculosis testing (TST/IGRA).
- Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR) immunity.
- Varicella immunity.
- Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) vaccination.
- Annual Influenza vaccine.
- COVID19 vaccination or adherence to facility policies.
- Tuberculosis testing (TST/IGRA).
Required Documentation:
- Updated Resume.
- Proof of Board Certification/Eligibility.
- Active state medical license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
