partner staffing on behalf of our Client we are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant specializing in reclamation and remediation to join our growing team in Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in environmental site assessments soil and groundwater remediation and site reclamation with a focus on delivering clientcentric solutions. This position offers the opportunity to lead projects mentor team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of professionals.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Phase I II and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Oversee remediation and reclamation projects including soil and groundwater assessments contaminated site management and closure reporting.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
- Lead soil and vegetation monitoring programs to evaluate site recovery.
- Prepare and review technical reports work plans cost estimates and proposals.
- Manage multiple projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including clients regulators and Indigenous communities to ensure project alignment with environmental and social considerations.
- Track project progress risks and deliverables reporting to senior leadership and clients as required.
- Mentor and train junior staff in environmental best practices fieldwork and reporting.
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on all deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree C.E.T or Master s degree in Environmental Science Soil Science Biology or a related field.
- Professional designation C.E.T P.Ag. P.Geo. P.Biol. or work experience equivalent.
- 6 years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on reclamation and remediation.
- Proven track record in managing complex environmental projects.
- Expertise in Saskatchewan s environmental regulations.
- Strong knowledge of environmental sampling techniques regulatory compliance and reporting standards.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
