Job Description

Occupli are delighted to exclusively partner with leading supplier of Process Equipment & Engineering Solutions into the Pharmaceutical Chemical and Biotechnology Industries in Ireland & UK.

We are recruiting two permanent Field Service Engineers

Based in Cork & reporting to the Operations Manager this position is responsible for the inspection repair and assembly of Process Control equipment sold or serviced.

Duties of the role include:
  • Inhouse service assembly/overhaul/test of product portfolio sold with focus on valve related items.
  • Mixture of work both in workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.
  • Trouble shooting and repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.
  • Operation of company related equipment such as Forklifts Tools & Testing equipment.
  • Responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.
  • Upkeep / maintenance of workshop Equipment & Asset.
  • Quality and Health & Safety procedures.



Requirements


  • Selfstarter with the ability to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team.
  • High level of knowledge/expertise of mechanical & electronic process control equipment.
  • Technical problem solving & trouble shooting ability.
  • Flexible and innovative approach to work.
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
  • The ability to work with people at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
  • The ability to write detailed reports such as site visits repair reports.
  • Role does require travel in Ireland & overnight stays on occasion.
  • Mechanical engineering academic &/or trade qualification.
  • Electrical/Electronic engineering experience &/or qualification would also be advantageous.
  • Related industry work experience in repair.
  • Visa requirements: Stamp 4 Stamp 1G Spouse or EU.
