What you will be doing:
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management
- Conduct inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Repair or replace appliances fixtures and equipment as needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and inventory of supplies
- Perform general maintenance for all residential rental properties hallways buildings and common areas
- Participate in afterhours emergency oncall maintenance rotation as required
- Utilize equipment properly and safely
- Maintain general knowledge of fair housing rules and regulations (training provided)
- Report to supervisor any pertinent resident or property issues or concerns
Experience you will need:
- Prior experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing and HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow directions and learn quickly
- Must be proficient and comfortable with computer tablet and smartphone technology
