Job Description
AECOM Buildings Places is actively seeking an Architect to join our Design team in Madrid office.
As an Architect you will be joining a highly motivated and proactive team with multidisciplinary projects delivered across several geographies with the potential to grow and thrive. Delivering diverse projects will provide candidate with the opportunity to learn from professionals working on different fields of expertise acquiring general knowledge of the design and construction process.
You will get an overview of the complete project life cycle from early proposal stages throughout the project planning set up and execution up to project closure.
Under the direct supervision of an Architect or Project Lead you will contribute to the team with the following tasks:
- Assist with creating and developing designs functional layouts diagrams and presentation materials based on complex programming requirements.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (engineering urban design and others) to support the design and construction of a variety of international and national projects.
- Developing from concept design to construction documents.
- Assist the Senior team members with other tasks including updating logs and checklists.
Qualifications :

- Architectural Masters Degree
- 6 years experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in BIM environment and Autodesk Revit.
- Proven experience with other design software (Autocad Photoshop Rhinoceros etc).
- English & Spanish fluent spoken and written.
- Well organized with the ability to manage time and deadlines in a fastpaced work environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Creative and collaborative with a passion for designing and detailing
