Job Description
Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Blackpool
SiteBased and Remote Options Available
Salary: 47523 to 62543 (based on 40 hours per week and including allowances and supplements)
Flexible Working: Options available regarding hours and shifts
About the Role
This practice is seeking a skilled and passionate veterinary surgeon for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on animal welfare. The role includes:
- Providing highquality veterinary care to a variety of pets
- Performing surgical procedures examinations and treatments
- Collaborating with a team of veterinarians and support staff
- Contributing to the mission of improving animal welfare
About You
- A recognized veterinary degree
- Eligibility for Veterinary Surgeon registration in the UK (RCVS)
- Passion for animal welfare
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to relocate to the United Kingdom
About the Hospital
The hospitals veterinary teams have varied clinical interests providing access to a broad range of knowledge and experience for case discussions and treatment planning. The Pet Hospitals are modern and wellequipped featuring:
- Separate dog and cat kennels
- Inhouse radiography ultrasound endoscopy
- Piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment
The team size allows for flexibility with weekend rotas and outofhours work including enhanced pay and standdown time during the week for weekend shifts.
