Job Description

IFA Technical Administrator parttime

Albury Surrey

FTE

Parttime Technical Administrator required. Excellent opportunity to join a closeknit high performing team working from our office near Guildford in the Surrey Hills.

Are you an experienced IFA administrator looking to use your skills in a parttime role (3 to 4 days).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing IFA financial planning business working closely with our Paraplanner and the rest of our closeknit team to ensure that business is processed efficiently for clients.

About the role

Duties will include:

  • Assist with the preparation of cases in readiness for the paraplanning paperwork including drafting suitability letters.
  • Process all new businessrelated paperwork from submission to completion and any ongoing administration for investments pensions and protection.
  • Ensure the backoffice data is accurate and up to date and all necessary client service reminders in place and adhered to.
  • Manage and maintain client records ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Communicate with clients and other members of the team to address inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared in advance of client meetings.
  • Attend operational meetings to discuss ongoing workloads and raise any concerns challenges or further opportunities.

Skills experience and qualifications

This role would suit an experienced IFA administrator who enjoys using their initiative and has a can do working style. We are looking for someone who will thrive and enjoy working in our close knit and supportive team.

  • At least three years experience of providing administrative support within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management Practice with a clear understanding of the different products and processes involved.
  • Technical ability to use multiple Financial Services backoffice systems (prior experience different software systems will be highly advantageous but full training will be given on the relevant IT systems).
  • Confidence in dealing directly with clients and third parties with ability to work with total discretion.
  • A high standard of accurate and concise written output with good attention to grammar and syntax.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Solution focused approach with a high standard of professionalism.
  • Somone who loves being an essential part of a high performing team but can equally work independently
  • Someone who is going to love the attention to detail and make this role their own

Additional information

This is a parttime role and the salary quoted is the fulltime equivalent salary. We are ideally looking for three to four days per week but if your requirement differs from this please do apply and let us know what you are looking for. There is the possibility of increased earnings through a bonus scheme.
