Concrete Plant Manager

About the Job

• Ensure all safety and environmental policies and regulations are followed, including clean housekeeping at the facility
• Oversee all drivers, operators, and other personnel at the plant; train, develop, and motivate employees toward accomplishing company goals and objectives
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment continually remain in safe and efficient operating condition; monitor all preventative and regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Ensure that all products meet quality requirements; take samples and test as necessary; ensure all equipment is working properly; complete all required reports timely and accurately; inform proper personnel of any quality problems that need resolving
• Manage sales and customer service, coordinate employee scheduling with customer service
• Maintain adequate levels of all raw materials, supplies and products; maintain accurate inventories and production reports as required
• Operate front end loader and other heavy equipment to maintain yard and plant as necessary
• Other duties as they arise

Job Requirements

• BS degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in Batch Plant Operations.
