Job Description

The Sr. Manager of Strategic Accounts and Oncology GPO Management is responsible for implementing key group purchasing organization (GPO) strategies across the Sobi portfolio and building organizational capabilities in the Community Oncology & GPO space. Essential to the role will be the requirement of ensuring our Oncology GPO Strategy will be implemented in a manner that creates provider uptake and ensures the successful access and inoffice dispensing by Community Oncology Practices. The priority will be to develop and implement a Strategic Account approach that will successfully drive our products with Strategic Accounts Oncology GPOs and Community Oncology Practices.

The Sr. Manager of Strategic Account and Oncology GPO Management will assume leadership responsibilities for the following activities:

  • Leads all customerfacing activity with key formulary decision makers within community oncology practices and GPO Accounts
  • Provide GPO Strategy Team feedback from GPO Accounts and Community Oncology to aid in setting future direction and strategy
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across value & access finance sales & marketing legal and compliance to support the development of business case recommendations for GPO activities and sponsorships.
  • Coordinate the operational needs of GPO marketing programs and sponsorships with all cross functional partners.
  • Utilize GPO performance dashboards to assess opportunities and target accounts based on these insights.
  • Ensure that the Account Management team is appropriately aligned with and appropriately influencing the individual community oncology practice formulary review process including the coordination of Sobi resources from medical affairs and health economics
  • Serves as single point of contact for key targeted Hematology Provider Network accounts within the Top 100 Strategic Accounts for contract updates and contract performance discussions
  • Leads GPO Team and internal partner efforts at Provider Network and adjacent/Corporate Account conferences and summits
  • Lead for ONCare CHOP and other GPO aggregators and adjacent organizations
  • Serves as an Account Management expert and resource for all RBDs carrying the GPO DPP contract into a community Hematology/Oncology acct
  • Support the GPO and Community Oncology informational needs of the U.S. sales force compliantly

Qualifications :

Required:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5 years of overall experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industries or equivalent
  • 1 years in GPO and/or Strategic Accounts
  • Experience in the oncology and/or hematology specialties with a focus on rare and orphan diseases as well as oral therapeutic product knowledge

Preferred:

  • Masters or other advanced degree
  • Product launch experience in the oral oncolytic space
  • 8 years of experience

  • Highlevel communications skills and relationship development and maintenance at all levels of the company as well as the customer
  • Identify analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Develop strategies action plans and metrics to monitor results
  • Effectively communicate ideas to a wide variety of people

  • Work in a fastpaced changing environment
  • Use a variety of computer programs and systems at an advanced level including Word Excel Email Internet databases etc.

Additional Information :

The base salary pay range for this role is $140000$190000 annually. Actual pay for this position will take into account factors such as experience and location.
