Job Description
The Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life and wellbeing of residents across all levels of care within our senior living community. Reporting to the Director of WellBeing this multifaceted position involves planning coordinating and executing a diverse range of activities outings and events that cater to the interests and needs of our residents. Additionally the role includes partnering with the Activities Manager & WellBeing Manager by ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and certifications.
Key responsibilities include but arent limited to:
- Schedules plans and organizes both internal and external events overseeing room reservations catering setup and technical requirements.
- Oversees and supports volunteers for all areas of living ensuring effective utilization of volunteer resources. Responsible for volunteer recruitment efforts.
- Provides support to residents and family members on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior living community or related setting with demonstrated expertise in activity planning and event coordination.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to senior care activities and events.
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning software is desirable.
- Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy Gerontology Social Work or a related field preferred.
- Maintain or willing to get CPR certification
