Position Summary
As an integral member of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging team you will perform various Imaging procedures at University Health Network with an opportunity to be trained in General Radiography contrast enhanced CT and basic 3D rendering. The department features stateoftheart digital technology and a team of innovative staff dedicated to patient care and superb image quality backed by a commitment to continuing education and quality assurance program initiatives. The Technologist will report to the CT/Gen Rad Supervisor and adhere to respective institutional policies and procedures.
Opportunities afforded specifically to MRTs at UHN include access to annual professional development funding and support and mentorship and opportunities in career directions that include education research and clinical leadership.
Duties
Performs General Imaging and some basic CT scan procedures using digital equipment digital quality assurance communicates with team members and management personnel participates in professional development teaching and educational activities mentoring and performing duties related to the job classification as required.
Performs crossfunctional/site responsibilities as assigned including the potential to work call or overtime and evening weekend or night shifts.
