Job Description
AHRC NYC is holding a JOB FAIR with ON THE SPOT HIRING! of Full & PartTime Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Brooklyn and Staten Island residences.
DATE & TIME: THURSDAY JANUARY 23RD from 10AM1PM
LOCATION: Recruiter will provide specific address for qualified candidates.
POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:
40HR Evening shifts 2PM10PM....Drivers license Required
30 & 40HR Overnight shifts Drivers license NOT Required
PAY RATE: $17$18 per hour depending on driving status with a one dollar per hour increase after six months if you are in good standing.
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY NEEDED FOR MOST POSITIONS.

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development interests and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking cleaning hygiene etc.
Qualifications :
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
- Willingness to support peoples preferences for community activities work leisure activities the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- High school education/GED highly preferred.
