Responsibilities:
- Recruit select onboard and evaluate faculty and staff.
- Align learning experiences with the BSN curriculum and support implementation.
- Collaborate with national academic committees on goals and projects.
- Develop plans for student success including retention graduation and NCLEX pass rates.
- Enhance student satisfaction and outcomes through collaboration.
- Evaluate course resources and assessment data recommending improvements.
- Support faculty in implementing changes to meet student needs.
- Ensure faculty adhere to teaching best practices through regular feedback.
- Mentor faculty and staff in academic excellence and professionalism.
- Facilitate faculty participation in national course advisory councils.
- Gather budget recommendations and prepare capital requests.
- Support clinical placement of nursing students.
- Conduct regular faculty and academic team meetings.
- Assign workloads and support national academic programs.
- Collaborate with national library staff on local holdings.
- Analyze student success data to improve curriculum delivery.
- Teach up to three courses per year.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in nursing required. Doctorate degree in nursing or credit toward doctorate degree preferred.
- Unencumbered Professional nursing license.
- Minimum of two years experience in nursing education at the Bachelor level or above.
- Development/participation in simulation/clinical experiences.
- Three to five years in acute patient care/trauma/emergency and/or medicalsurgical environments considered a plus.
- Above average competency in Microsoft Suite of products.
- Previous leadership experience with the ability to lead direct and advise faculty.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact with all levels: students faculty and staff.
Additional Information :
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected salary range for this position is between $70696.34 and $127957.05. Actual pay will be adjusted based on jobrelated factors permitted by law such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
