The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering competitive Project specific technocommercial bids and clean handover for execution in collaboration withstakeholders that primarily include front end Sales teams Global Engineering Order Engineering Global operations etc.
PreOrder phase
- Ensure selection sizing and ontime delivery of competitive technocommercial project proposals against
- Request for Quotations for Mechanical Sealing Solutions (Seals andSeal Support systems)
- Review Interpret and Establish project specific requirements in collaboration with Global Stakeholders from tender documents including but not limited to:Instructions to Bidders Equipment Datasheets Material Requisition P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Drawings) instrument Hook Up Logical diagrams key delivery datesapplicable INCOTERMS and other contractual terms & conditions
- Manage TechnoCommercial clarifications Exceptions and Deviations
- Coordinate with Project Application and Global Engineering teams to obtain sign off for nonstandard or special applications as necessaryManage technocommercial scope for Seal Support systems (Auxiliary Systems) internally through Fluid Control teams
- Provide investment case analysis and margin summary to Global Project Sales Managers from time to time
- Conduct and Participate in Customer review meetings (EPC OEM etc) including project kickoff meetingSupporting team / group continuous improvement initiativesGuiding new engineers and act as onboarding buddy
Post order phase
- Contract review and Order acknowledgement against purchase orders
- Release clear technocommercial order handover to Engineering and Global operations
- Ensure efficient support on technocommercial queries or conflicts arising through Project Delivery office during execution phase where necessary
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering are preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience to include engineering design instrumentation manufacturing knowledge is essential.
- Advanced english
- Working knowledge of product selection sizing and Engineering of mechanical seal and Seal support systems or related products
- Hands on experience in maintaining rotating equipment or their auxiliary system will be added advantageWorking knowledge in review and interpretation of project specification from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) EPC and End user will be added advantage
- Working Knowledge of API (American Petroleum Institute) 682 & API 610 is advantageous
- Must be a quick learner with good technical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with excellent Collaboration & Influencing skillsAbility to manage Time under conflicting priorities
- Customer service and results oriented
- Good functional experience and skills with MS Office tools like Excel Outlook PowerPoint etc.
