Configuration Engineer - EXPO Customs IS Operational Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing Chef/Puppet/Ansible in a distributed environment to standardize and automate our business application teams build test and deploy pipelines.

This position is onsite and will reside in the greater Seattle WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications :

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment
• Strong scripting skills (Bash Python Ruby preferred)
• Critical & logical thinking in highpressure circumstances
• Experience spinning up VMs
• Skills in debugging system level issue in either Unix or Linux
• Ability to formulate a design strategy from a mix of business requirements concept documents and verbal descriptions
• Requires the skill to train mentor and share knowledge in both individual and group settings

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with DevOps / Infrastructure as Code
• Programming languages (Python Java preferred)
• Understanding of automation deployment processes and techniques employed within areas of technical specialty
• Understanding of test automation and continuous delivery principles
• Data Analytics Experience

Additional Information :

Expected base salary:  $100000 to $145000
