Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and detailoriented Fleet Director to join our team in Denver United States. As the Fleet Director you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our entire fleet operations ensuring efficiency costeffectiveness and compliance with industry standards. Salary Range: $90000 $100000 per year plus an annually bonus of $50000 (bonus paid monthly) and a company car.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve fleet performance reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency
- Lead and mentor a team of fleet operations professionals fostering a collaborative and goaloriented work environment
- Oversee vehicle acquisition maintenance and disposal processes to maximize fleet utilization and minimize downtime
- Analyze fleet data and key performance indicators to identify trends and make datadriven decisions
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of fleet operations with overall business objectives
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to secure costeffective services and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with all relevant DOT regulations and safety standards
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend vehicle life and reduce repair costs
- Create and manage budgets for fleet operations including vehicle purchases maintenance and fuel costs
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve fleet management practices
- Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of fleet operations
- Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on fleet performance and strategic initiatives
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics or a related field; MBA preferred
- 7 years of progressive experience in fleet management with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully managing largescale fleet operations and driving operational improvements
- Indepth knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities with a focus on developing and motivating staff
- Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance repair processes and industry best practices
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in fleet management
- Familiarity with telematics and fleet tracking technologies
- Experience with implementing costsaving initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
