Position Overview:
Based in Vaughan the Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager and another Project Coordinator to organize schedule and coordinate all aspects of projects and installations related to the company’s safety equipment. The new hire will manage projects in the western region (Manitoba to BC) handling approximately five overlapping projects per week. This is a fastpaced role that requires excellent problemsolving skills strong communication abilities and a flexible teamoriented mindset.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in project coordination preferably in bluecollar industries. They are driven techsavvy and thrive in a small business environment where adaptability and a handson attitude are essential. Strong communication skills and a customer serviceoriented approach are critical for success.
Compensation:
Base salary of $75000 strong benefits package (after three months)
3 weeks of paid vacation 2 week endofyear shutdown (5 weeks total)
Standard hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Fulltime onsite role in Vaughan office (newly renovated office relocation in 6 months)
Comprehensive training provided including occasional visits to local sites
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate projects with internal and thirdparty installers ensuring alignment with client timelines and team availability.
Coordinate with departments (parts and service) to confirm necessary components and technician availability for projects.
Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders including clients of varying roles and seniority to manage project progress changes and unforeseen issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with thirdparty installers including negotiating rates and pricing for each project.
Problemsolve and address issues as they arise during project execution.
Use Excel and a resource management program (with Salesforce implementation planned for later this year) to manage project data and schedules.
Qualifications/Requirements:
2 years of proven experience in project coordination ideally in industries like construction homebuilding installations or related bluecollar fields.
Familiarity with bluecollar or construction industry workflows is an asset.
Strong problemsolving skills to ensure project challenges are resolved efficiently and promptly.
Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills able to act independently without direct supervision.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g. organizing data pivot tables) and a strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools and systems.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a customer servicefocused mindset.
Adaptable to constant change and ability to thrive in a handson teamoriented environment.
