Job Description
ARHS Group part of Accenture is looking for a Tech Lead/Data Engineer specialized in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for one of its clients.
Context
As part of a vast migration program to the GCP cloud the client wants to carry out a POC on the dashboards of the application that manages the use of the its licenses (applications servers etc.).
The client is looking for a GCP Lead Data Engineer to join a team with internal resources and perform an MVP of the solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering expertise in GCP and leadership skills to lead a team of data engineers.
Role & responsibilities
- Designing developing and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines on GCP.
- Collaborating with development product and analytics teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensuring data quality and data processing system performance.
- Mentoring and training team members on best practices in data engineering and the use of GCP.
- Participating in the definition of the data architecture and the selection of appropriate technologies.
- Technically supervising data migration projects to GCP and ensuring their success.
Qualifications :
Technical skills
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in GCP.
- Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
- Experience with GCP tools and services such as BigQuery Dataproc Pub/Sub Cloud Storage Cloud Build.
- Knowledge of data warehousing ETL/ELT and modern data architectures.
- Project management and team leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work in a dynamic environment.
