Job Description
Our Property Services pillar operate in the refurbishment and regeneration of properties in the Midlands and North. We are currently looking for a SHEQ Advisor to provide invaluable specialist support and advice to teams delivering Fire Safety schemes SHDF Net Zero retrofit planned & responsive maintenance. Your role as SHEQ Advisor will involve:
- Promote and implement a positive SHEQ culture ensuring compliance with industry standards and United Living expectations
- Guide and advise projects on the implementation of business management systems policies and procedures
- Monitor site performance conduct investigations and perform root cause analysis for allocated projects
- Support continuous improvement of SHEQ performance through proactive monitoring and reporting
- Provide support and advice to subcontractors and suppliers as required
- Participate in regular meetings contributing to best practices and innovation
- Support line manager and wider team in the delivery of agreed strategy and action plans
- Required travel
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors
- Looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams
Qualifications :
This is primarily a sitebased role which will require a SHEQ professional with previously construction / property services sector experience in addition to a full UK driving license and vehicle for work purposes. You will also possess the following:
- NEBOSH Construction
- SEATS
- IOSH
