Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Senior Buyer to join our team in Madrid Spain. In this critical role you will be responsible for managing complex procurement processes for infrastructure projects ensuring costeffectiveness quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for largescale infrastructure projects
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers contractors and service providers
- Analyze market trends conduct cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project requirements and specifications
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to delivery and payment
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality cost and performance metrics
- Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and risk assessment
- Ensure compliance with company policies local regulations and industry standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management preferably in infrastructurerelated industries
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing contract negotiation and supplier management
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes best practices and industry trends
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong project management abilities and experience in managing complex procurement projects
- Solid understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies in procurement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CPM is preferred
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits and industry events
