Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Catoosa OK. This role involves ensuring product quality throughout the software development lifecycle maintaining compliance with ISO9001 standards and implementing proactive quality management strategies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problemsolver a strong communicator and have a handson approach to quality assurance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Advocacy:
Promote and educate employees on the companys quality statement.
Testing and Monitoring:
Define test requirements and automate test procedures to enhance user experience.
Monitor all phases of the software development process including design development testing debugging and delivery.
Standards and Compliance:
Maintain quality standards at every stage of the software lifecycle.
Assess specifications and technical design documents providing relevant and actionable feedback.
Strategy Development:
Plan and implement strategies for quality management and testing.
Develop and execute testing protocols to maintain product quality during development.
Root Cause Analysis:
Contribute to root cause analysis programs such as 8D 5Why and Fishbone diagrams.
Communicate findings and establish preventive action measures in collaboration with customers.
Preventive Measures:
Utilize tools like DFMEA/PFMEA to identify and address quality control issues proactively.
Collaborate with quality supervisors to implement preventive measures.
Quality Documentation:
Assist in creating and maintaining quality documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and management objectives.
Auditing:
Work directly with quality management to conduct internal and external QMS audits.
Continuous Improvement Collaboration:
Partner with the Continuous Improvement Team to ensure quality during manufacturing efficiency projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.
Experience with ISO9001 documentation implementation or maintenance (preferred).
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification (preferred).
Requirements:
Strong ability to communicate with crossfunctional teams and highvalue customers.
Handson problemsolving skills with a collaborative approach involving the manufacturing labor force.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Commitment to ongoing education and obtaining additional quality and inspection certifications.
