Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work on an array of projects
- Duties include performing calculations equipment selection/design
- Work on projects throughout the Midwest and across the country
- Assist with business development including project pursuits proposals and building/maintaining client relationships
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering with an electrical focus
- 5 years of electrical engineering experience (power lighting fire alarm emergency power and specification preparation for office buildings commercial buildings educational buildings aviation/port buildings municipal/county buildings and industrial buildings)
- PE License
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes
- Knowledge of electrical construction materials/methods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- Working knowledge of Autodesk (AutoCAD Revit) preferred
- Managing multiple engineering disciplines experience preferred
- Experience preparing fee proposals preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
