Job Description

Seeking a Histotechnician to join a healthcare facility within a 60mile radius of their location in New York State. This position involves processing embedding cutting and staining surgical and autopsy tissue as well as preparing cytopathology specimens for examination by Pathologists. Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in medical technology biology or chemistry or hold HTL certification from a recognized agency along with an AAS NY State license. The ideal candidate will manage tissue specimens maintain equipment perform specialized diagnostic techniques and participate in the Quality Assurance program in a supportive healthcare environment.
