Elan provides English language arts training for children aged 5 to 15 in China. The first Elan school opened in March 2013 and
today there are 20 Elan schools across Shanghai Beijing Shenzhen Guangzhou and Foshan. In early 2016 Elan was acquired by
Country Garden ( ) Education Group now known as Bright Scholar ( ) Education Group a publicly listed company on
the NYSE. Bright Scholar is one of China s largest education providers serving over 30000 students and employing 60000 staff
members.
Job Title: English Literature and Reading Teacher
Responsibilities: Teaching English Literature General English and English Reading
Location 1: TJ/ Tianjie Center Runcheng Center No.12 Dongdaqiao Rd. Chaoyang District Beijing
Location 2: WJ/ Wangjing Center F3 Tower 2 Building C Wangjing SOHO Chaoyang District Beijing
Start Date: Immediate/ Jan/ Feb of 2025
Students: Ages 315
Working Hours for Location 1:
Monday and Thursday: 1:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m.
Fridays: 11:30 a.m. 8:30 p.m.
Weekends: 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
Off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Working Hours for Location 2:
Monday & Tuesday: 1:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m.
Fridays: 11:30 a.m. 8:30 p.m.
Weekends: 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
Off on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Requirements
Requirements
1. Experience: Professional English teaching experience
2. Language: Native English speakers preferred; experienced nonnative speakers are also welcome
3. Passion: Love working with children
4. Personality: Ability to create a positive and fun atmosphere

Monthly Salary: RMB(Negotiable based on experience and professionalism)
Flight Reimbursement: Up to RMB 8000 annually

Contract Renewal Bonus: Up to 50% of monthly salary (Based on annual performance)

REQUIREMENTS: - Enthusiastic, committed and ambitious - With teaching certification - At least Master degree in relevant subject - At least two years IGCSE, A-Level, IB, AP teaching experience
