Job Description

Introduction

We have a rare opportunity for a Graduate / Junior Data Reporting Analyst to join a rapidly growing company based in Bristol. We are looking for someone with the right skills who aligns with our values as well as a strong educational background.

Role is available for immediate start.

Renewable Exchange is a market leader in providing insights and delivering value to owners of renewable energy projects.

Our online platform is the cornerstone of our offering and were currently adding exciting new products (SaaS) and expanding into new international markets. We add value to our clients while ensuring that we take an ethical clientfirst approach to everything we do.

We are a small but mighty team of 20 based in the centre of Bristol and with international offices in Germany. We value trust simplicity and action.

Tasks

Role

As a Data Reporting Analyst you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive decisionmaking across the organisation. Collaborating with teams across sales marketing technology and innovation you will focus on creating and maintaining robust reporting solutions while ensuring data accuracy and usability.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Design develop and maintain reporting dashboards and automated reporting solutions that provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business units to understand reporting needs and translate them into data requirements and solutions.
  • Ensure the accuracy consistency and integrity of data used in reporting and analysis.
  • Use data visualisation techniques to communicate trends patterns and insights effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the organisations Business Intelligence tools and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with teams to promote a culture of datadriven decisionmaking and provide guidance on how to leverage reports effectively to improve services.
  • Contribute to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics for internal and clientfacing reporting.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools: Experience with tools like Power BI Tableau or Looker for building dashboards and reports.
  • Data manipulation and querying: Knowledge of SQL for extracting and transforming data.
  • Programming skills: Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Excel expertise: Advanced Excel skills including macros pivot tables and formulas for reporting.
  • Knowledge of databases and data storage systems: Understanding of relational databases and data warehouses.

Experience

  • Experience working with large complex datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with Agile or project management methodologies is a plus.
