Job Description
Job Title: Material Coordinator I Material Planning and Control
Location: Dubuque IA
Duration: 12 Months Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension
Shift Details: 1st Shift (06:00 AM to 02:30 PM with potential for OT)
Job Description:
We seek a motivated and detailoriented Material Coordinator I to join our team in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. As a Material Coordinator you will ensure the smooth flow of materials for production maintain inventory accuracy and resolve shortages to support uninterrupted operations. This is a firstshift position (6:00 AM 2:30 PM) with potential for overtime based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams to address gaps in material availability.
Support production operators by identifying and resolving material shortages.
Audit material inventory to ensure accuracy and maintain replenishment cycles.
Investigate and resolve inventory errors to support smooth operations.
Expedite parts and manage critical shortage reports to meet production demands.
Implement engineering releases and change management processes.
Manage deviations and adjustments as needed.
MustHave Skills:
2 3 years of experience in supply management or manufacturing.
Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to analyze information and make sound business decisions.
A team player who thrives in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Material flow experience with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Knowledge of data analytics.
A proactive multitasking mindset.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Management Information Technology Engineering or equivalent work experience.
