Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Nights
Location: West Lafayette IN (47906)
Client: State of Indiana
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on the night shift at a premier care facility. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents ensuring their safety and wellbeing while adhering to all health protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments following established standards.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate medical records.
- Assess residents health conditions and communicate changes to the medical team.
- Participate in care planning and help orient new staff members.
- Assist with resident activities and coordinate appointments with healthcare providers.
Required Skills:
- Valid Indiana LPN License or from an NLC participating state.
- CPR and BLS Certification.
- Experience in longterm care (LTC) and memory care settings.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferably Matrix Care.
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.
