Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to oversee and maintain SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration with expertise in high availability solutions and transparent data encryption. This role requires a local candidate who can work onsite two days a week under a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SQL Server databases specifically version 16 and above.
- Create update and maintain comprehensive systems documentation.
- Implement and oversee high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
- Utilize Transparent Data Encryption within SQL Server for enhanced security.
- Collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Top Skills Required:
- 5 years of experience in SQL Server database administration.
- 3 years of experience in systems documentation.
- Expertise in HA and DR solutions.
- Proficient in Transparent Data Encryption within SQL Server.
- Local to the Greater Lansing area.
