Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to assist with the Child Welfare Information System (CWIS). The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of security principles and handson experience in securing containerized environments. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management and a strong foundation in regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify security gaps and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Document vulnerability assessment results in a clear and actionable manner.
- Leverage expertise in secure coding practices vulnerability management and threat modeling.
- Utilize containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) and ensure security integration in workflows.
- Implement controls to meet regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA PCI DSS).
