Responsibilities: As an Application Developer you will be responsible for designing building and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Advanced proficiency in Cobol Mainframe is required. Advanced proficiency in IBM Db2 is recommended. Job Control Language (JCL) at an advanced level of proficiency Customer Information Control System (CICS) emulators at an advanced level of proficiency Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) at an advanced level of proficiency and SQL Databases at an advanced level of proficiency are suggested. Develop and implement efficient code solutions using Cobol Mainframe Collaborate with team members to optimize application performance Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IBM Db2 integration Enhance existing applications by utilizing Job Control Language (JCL) effectively Contribute to the improvement of database management through SQL Databases Primary Skills include: COBOL DB2 JCL CICS VSAM IBM Tools Strong knowledge in SQL
