Job Description
Role: Project Manager
Location: Newark NJ (2 to 3 days onsite)
Duration: 612month project
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of project methodology management tools and techniques across all project activities (including Agile and Waterfall).
- Good understanding and planning skills in all aspects of a system/business project lifecycle.
- Ability to identify excessive cycle time and/or costs and develop alternative courses of action associated with the projects lifecycle
- Ability to manage resources directly and through cross functional teams
- Conversant on issues and current trends as they relate to the banking industrys product and services
- Aptitude to prioritize and analyze a list of measurable product and service characteristics along with associated target values
- Ability to set and develop strategic goals and techniques for a project and effectively communicate this to all project team members
Education
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in a project management position
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a bank or financial services
