Job Description:
Business Analyst Role Duties:
- Interview the business SMEs to investigate questions from the project team
- Facilitate requirements gathering (refinements)
- Capturing & documenting User Stories & Acceptance Criteria in our system of record)
- Elaborate acceptance criteria test cases (verification SIT UAT)
- May serve as tester (validation SIT creation and creation / facilitation of UAT case scenarios)
- Mentor team on analysis techniques and best practices as observed guidance to PO/SM/PM
- Identifying and suggesting solutions documenting mockups presenting to team and business
- Creating detailed documentation of business requirements processes solutions
- May create required design documentation as needed
- Represent the stakeholders (keep things honest)
- Grooms backlog with the team/developers
- Quickly become a SME to our project
- Validate that the implementations in our Sprints match the project plan/requirements
- Keep all documentation stored and shared with the team in our designated online/cloud locations at all times
