Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our dynamic dental practice in Drighlington West Yorkshire. As a key member of our team you will play a crucial role in providing highquality dental care and promoting oral health to our diverse patient base.
- Start Date: March 2025 however we can be flexible in line with your notice period
- Days and Hours: 1 x day per week surgery space available on a Wednesday
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene treatments including Airflow
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Administer local anesthesia and place dental sealants as needed
- Take dental radiographs using digital technology
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and infection control protocols

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Dental Therapy or equivalent
- Current GDC (General Dental Council) registration as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist
- Proven experience in a dental hygiene and therapy role
- Proficiency in a wide range of dental hygiene procedures
- Strong knowledge of current dental hygiene practices and technologies
- Experience with digital radiography equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong attention to detail and a patientcentered approach
- Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
