Job Description
TPF Recruiting are supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior into their growing and highly successful team based in Ashford Kent. You will be based near Ashford and will be responsible for providing clients with a mixed service across accounts tax VAT and bookkeeping. Our client has seen excellent growth over the last 12 months and theyre looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team as they grow further. They have a modern and relaxed working environment with a flexible approach and they offer a great work life balance too. They are open to both full time and parttime applicants. Their clients are completely mixed across a range of sectors and sizes from sole traders partnerships and Ltd companies through to multimillion pound groups.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of annual accounts
- Meetings with clients
- Preparation of corporate tax returns
- Partnership returns & individual selfassessment tax returns
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Some basic bookkeeping work
- Overseeing the work of more junior team members and supporting them accordingly
Requirements
For this Accounts Senior position you will be:
- ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
- 35 years practice experience
- Experience of Xero Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
