Job Description
Our client is a rapidly growing platform transforming crossborder and local services by connecting people with efficient solutions. They are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer with strong Java expertise problemsolving abilities and a passion for building scalable highperformance applications. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design develop and maintain software solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and optimize backend systems for mobile apps and websites ensuring efficient and reliable service.
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend teams to provide technical solutions based on business requirements.
- Implement highperformance scalable backend architectures and optimize existing systems.
- Develop and maintain backend services using frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Optimize database structures (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) for performance and consistency.
- Integrate thirdparty services (e.g. payment gateways message queues) and manage APIs.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for code quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues staying updated with industry trends to improve team skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related fields.
- 5 years of Java development experience with strong Java fundamentals and familiarity with Java 8.
- Expertise in Spring Boot Spring Cloud and microservice architecture.
- Proficient in database design SQL optimization and NoSQL (e.g. Redis MongoDB).
- Knowledge of message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ Kafka) and distributed system design.
- Experience with RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC is a plus.
- Practical experience with frontend and backend separation supporting frontend teams.
- Familiar with Linux and basic server maintenance.
- Proficient in Git and experienced with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins Docker Kubernetes).
- Strong problemsolving communication and teamwork skills with a passion for continuous learning.
