Provide an administration service to various components of the Neighbourhoods Directorate primarily for Public Protection (Environmental Health Trading Standards)
Maintain update and quality assure various IT systems and records ensuring consistency accuracy and quality of data. Including data input updating document management systems and ensuring legislative time constraints are met.
Prioritise workload in the face of competing demands and pressurised working environment often supporting multiple front line teams and projects.
Provide high quality selfdirected administrative support checking own work and proactively looking to raise standards and improve consistency across the team.
Maintain awareness of wider issues and changes which may impact upon the daily support needs of the directorate.
To liaise where appropriate with external bodies and government agencies in respect of service provision as required.
Contribute to the development of the Business Services Team service offer creating a professional environment and futureproofing administrative and support services.
Work in a fast paced multifunction environment.
Although the role is primarily to work remotely there is a need to have a flexible approach and to attend the office in Romford each week and as and when required.
