What you will be doing:
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
- Obtain quotes and define scope of work for subcontractors and vendors
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors vendors and clients
- Attend onsite prebid meetings
Experience you will need:
- Must have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of civil site work and concrete work
- Ability to work independently to meet estimate deadlines and client requirements
