Job Description
We are looking to add to our team an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic. to work in the Fort Mcmurray area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of onroad and offroad equipment (from tractortrailers to mining equipment); diagnose faults or malfunctions. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure work meets manufacturers specifications legislated regulations and service reports. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts components or systems Interpret work orders and technical manuals; record each job task on a work order Keep equipment cleaned lubricated and maintained; clean working environment. Attend standard service calls to the site or other locations Record each inspection with a 20point inspection guideline for heavyduty equipment
Requirements
- Journeyperson Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician 5 years experience as a Journeyperson Must have own transportation to travel to and from a worksite Must have own tools and a lockable toolbox Full Class 5 License
Rotation: 7 7 12 hours per day with overtime available
