Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide an efficient and effective service to all customers entering the shop.
2. Refer or escort the customers to the showroom upstairs.
3. Provide the customer with the required application and technical information regarding colour grade price stock availability and use of building & tiling related products i.e. tile adhesive spacers etc.
4. Use sales and marketing techniques to influence customer to purchase products to buy up etc.
5. Make out an order and advise customer of process i.e. payment to cashier arranging delivery dispatch from Warehouse etc.
6. Followup with customers who required samples or measurements.
7. Ensure Sales Representative area is neat and clean at all times to create the correct impression.
8. Ensure that the personal appearance is immaculate at all times to project a positive sales and company image.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Experience in sales in a retail environment
- Experience in sales in building supplies/tile industry (advantageous)
- Computer skills
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
- Have customer Service and Selling Skills
- Be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Attention to Detail
- Excellent timekeeping and work ethic/ attendance record
RUMUNERATION
- R5000 (Basic) Commission
