Job Description
Location: Hybrid London office presence required
Were hiring for a Junior FullStack Software Engineer. This hybrid Junior FullStack Software Engineer role offers flexibility to work where its most effective whether at home or in our London Shepherds Bush office. We value inperson collaboration so we ask team members to come into the office 1 day per week when possible for crossteam interaction and allhands meetings.
Software Engineering plays a crucial role in the overall user experience at Gousto. Our approach is customercentric datadriven and outcomefocused. We use lean principles to work iteratively experiment and learn rapidly.
Our structure consists of highly autonomous crossfunctional squads with the freedom to determine both their desired outcomes and the methods to achieve them. We embrace modern engineering practices including TestDriven Development (TDD) and Pair Programming while fostering a DevOps culture.
At Gousto we are committed to your learning and progression and dedicate 10% of our time to tech innovation and hold regular brown bag sessions to share knowledge. Were committed to engaging with the wider tech community by hosting meetups speaking at events and sharing insights through our blog.

Who You Are
- An understand and experience of programming and knowledge Data Structures
- An excellent attitude to learning
- An interest in working with PHP/Node and React (experience is advantageous)
- An understanding of testing and the testing pyramid
