Job Summary:
1. Prepares and performs a variety of CT and radiologic procedures.
2. Provides patient care during procedures.
3. Requires physical activities such as standing sitting walking lifting weights up to 50 pounds and operating CT scanner and computer.
4. Work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases and may be stressful due to patient volume.
5. Required to have a current Hawaii state license as a Radiologic Technologist or be eligible to obtain it before the date of hire.
6. Must hold a current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) or obtain it within one year of entering the position.
7. Must have indepth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff.
8. Requires current BLS/HCP certification.
9. Requires a minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility or one year of experience in Radiologic Special Procedures.
10. CT experience is required.
11. The job includes rotating and night shifts.
