Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Estimator Associate Level
Location: Worcester MA (Onsite)
Salary Range: $70K $100K annually plus benefits
Duration: Full Time: Permanent
Shift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week
Citizenship: USC or Green card Holder
Job Description:
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing and completing bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator is responsible for estimating projects and works with other Estimators suppliers and customers to complete the estimate. The Estimator is responsible for developing and completing projectspecific estimates and early project viability assessments for clients bidtype requests. You will be involved with overall cost analysis and preproject and postproject reviews.
MustHave Skills:
- High School Diploma And Additional Specialized Training Required
- Ability to read and write in English
- At least two (2) years experience as an Electrical Estimator
- Candidate having 10 years of experience will not be entertained.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required materials for an estimate
- Produce estimates takeoff by using various methods (comprehensive median historical conceptual)
- Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for accuracy with plans and specifications
- Meet with Project Management and operations to fully explain the estimate scope of work quotes and other aspects for a successful transition
- Responsible for the timely completion of all estimates and clientrequired documents
- Write scope letter inclusions exclusions and clarifications for estimates
- The responsibilities describe the general nature and scope of work being performed. Other duties will be assigned as needed
