Job Spec:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with handson experience in integrating data from Snowflake building intuitive dashboards and delivering actionable insights. This role requires expertise in Power BI report development as well as a strong understanding of Snowflake as a cloudbased data warehouse. The Power BI Developer will work closely with business analysts data engineers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into impactful visualizations and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Power BI Report Development:

• Design develop and maintain Power BI reports dashboards and visualizations that help stakeholders make datadriven decisions.

• Work with business analysts and end users to understand requirements and deliver reporting solutions that address business needs.

• Implement advanced Power BI features including DAX Power Query and custom visuals to enhance the reporting experience.

• Data Integration and Modeling:

• Work with Snowflake data warehouse to create and manage data models that power Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes for seamless data integration from Snowflake to Power BI.

• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to extract manipulate and transform data from Snowflake to Power BI.

• Performance Optimization:

• Optimize Power BI report performance ensuring that large datasets from Snowflake are handled efficiently and queries run quickly.

• Use best practices to improve Power BI report and dashboard load times while maintaining accuracy.

  • Hands on python skills are nice to have
  • Familiarity with other BI tools or data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau QlikView) is a plus.
