Job Description
- Summary: This individual fills the role of surgical technologist II in the Operating Room. They understand and demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures. Assure all supplies and equipment are available for the procedure and in working condition. Confirm and/or assemble sterile instruments for use correctly. Anticipate the needs of the surgeon. They assist in keeping an accurate account of drugs sharps and instruments. They are responsible for maintaining and monitoring the sterile field.
Requirement description :
- At least two years of experience Required
- Travel experience Highly Preferred.
- NBSTSA or NCCT Required
- ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer)
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- BLS (AHA)
- NBSTSA
- NCCT
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Every 5th Weekend
On Call Requirements : 1 Night/Week
