Job Description
40bed Medical / Telemetry Monitored unit; Epic experience REQUIRED; MEDICAL EXPERIENCE WITH TELEMETRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Must have a MINIMUM of 2 years recent related medical/telemetry experience in a medium to large sized facility. Patient population includes Pre and Post catheterization Pacemaker and EP study patients; chest pain etiology unknown cardiac dysrhythmia CHF hypertension syncope abdominal pain and others. Must be comfortable caring for and monitoring post cardiac procedural patients. MUST have telemetry proficiency; will be required to pass a Dysrhythmia and Medication test upon start of assignment. Flexibility to float to Sister unit 3 North Tele and other Medical/Surgical and related telemetry and observation units which may include but not limited to other units within the Heart Hospital arena: 1 Specialty progressive and 3 / 4 Specialty universal bed units. Patient contact may include COVID19 patients. BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred. Safety Sensitive position* Start date: Tuesdays SFHS SUBMISSION COVER SHEET MUST BE INCLUDED OR PROFILE WILL BE DECLINED: Permanent Address must show minimum 100 miles from facility. *SAFETY SENSITIVE: Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA) safety sensitive position is defined as any job that includes tasks or duties that the employer believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position. This statute allows employers to lawfully refuse to hire applicants for safetysensitive jobs or to discipline or discharge employees who work in safety sensitive jobs if they test positive for marijuana even if they have a valid license to use medical marijuana.
Shift: 7P7A with every other weekend rotation; availability to float is required
