About the Role
We are hiring a Utility Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the planning execution and delivery of utility projects with a primary focus on water and wastewater systems. This is a fulltime onsite directhire position offering a competitive base salary benefits and profitsharing opportunities. The salary is dependent on the individuals skills and experience. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of utility infrastructure projects from initial planning to final completion and handover.
- Develop detailed project plans schedules and budgets ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
- Lead and coordinate crossfunctional teams subcontractors and vendors to achieve project milestones.
- Utilize project management tools such as Primavera P6 to create baseline schedules updates and recovery plans.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress verify compliance with safety and quality standards and address any issues.
- Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of equipment materials and services.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks delays and budget variances.
- Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations related to utility infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports financial tracking and client communications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Manage contracts negotiate change orders and ensure subcontractor performance meets project expectations.
- Promote a culture of safety and implement quality management systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing utility infrastructure projects with a focus on water and wastewater systems.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Procore.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and equipment relevant to utility projects.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time within budget and to highquality standards.
- Experience in cost estimating budgeting and financial reporting for largescale projects.
- Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations quality assurance practices and environmental compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications.
- Willingness to travel as required for site visits and meetings with stakeholders.
