Job Description

Job Title: AWS/.NET Migration Developer (Onsite Calgary AB)
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Calgary Alberta Canada (Onsite 5 days per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking an Intermediatelevel AWS/.NET Developer to join our team in Calgary. You will be working closely with our Lead Consultant to migrate a legacy .NET application to the AWS cloud. This role requires strong .NET development skills and experience with AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Lead Consultant on the .NET application migration to AWS.
  • Develop and implement solutions using .NET Framework SQL Server and AWS services.
  • Utilize containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and infrastructureascode (Terraform).
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in .NET Framework
  • Experience with SQL Server databases
  • Understanding of containerization concepts and technologies
  • Handson experience with AWS services: Fargate ECR ECS RDS VPC ELB
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation
  • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

  • Experience with .NET Core
  • Experience with gRPC
